Los Dos To Be Honored At Halftime Of Galaxy Match

The LA Galaxy II squad were one game away from capturing the 2016 USL title but ultimately lost a heartbreaker to the one loss Rochester Rhinos. Nevertheless Los Dos put up a impressive fight and had a successful regular season overall.

That Los Dos squad featured current LA Galaxy coach Curt Onalfo and first-team players like Jack McBean, Ari Lassiter, Raul Mendiola and Clement Diop to name a few. Jaime Villarreal, Bradley Diallo and Nathan Smith were also on hand and are now signed to Homegrown contracts.

At halftime of the LA Galaxy v Portland Timbers match, the Los Dos players will be recognized and presented to the home crowd as part of the Support Local Soccer Night.

As part of this celebration, LA Galaxy II will be recognized and introduced at halftime ahead of their season opening match against Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2 on March 25 at StubHub Center Track & Field Stadium

Most Homegrown players will undoubtedly be available for loan selection from the first-team to Los Dos so they can get some run instead of sitting on the bench. Given that Los Angeles continues to promote from their affiliate it shows the strength of its program.

Some exciting prospects have been added to Los Dos like academy standout Ethan Zubak  and returning players like Ryo Fujii, Adonis Amaya and Adrian Vera who may be ready take the next step in their professional careers.

The Galaxy II dropped their first preseason match to Club Tijuana’s U-20 squad at the Estadio Caliente. Los Dos kick off their season on March 25 at home against the Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2.
